well…. i am a humble fan of battledawn and i have a small request even though this isn’t for development requests i would like to be able to watch the battles i think htat would make a this game more exiting watching your men face off against the enemy.

I am going to try to answer a few of your questions here, but I am very tired as it has been a very long day of family and Christmas Eve festivities. I am going to make this as informative as possible, but I am very eager to rest so I will make it short and sweet.
The new client is a complete overhaul of the GUI (graphic user interface) of Battle Dawn, as well as the implementation of many new features that are the result of much interaction with you the community through the suggestions section in the forum, as well as our own experiences and lessons over time running BD.
It would take me quite a while to explain it all to you, so hopefully it will suffice to say what you may already know by reading the post i just put in the main blog. We are just-about ready to go into beta testing. The arrival should fall within the next two weeks, and I am fairly sure it will be an open beta (but that could be subject to change)…at least I hope so. Even if the beta ends up closed for some oddball reason, take solace in the fact that the client will be implemented within a short amount of time after beta testing, as many of you already know that beta is the final phase of any game/game update before full-on public release.
After working with the guys in dev on this project, and knowing first-hand what the changes are going to do for the ergonomics and ease-of-play, not to mention just the “excitement” factor…Man I have wanted to talk about it for so long now! It is AWESOME guys! I cannot wait for you all to get to play it! Heck, I cannot wait to play with it myself in an actual live server!!! >:^)

Only problem is this layout needs some work the stuff isnt aligned on some pages. Otherwise great idea to have the blog

it would help if you could see your alliance members military strength by looking at the colony,it is hard to mount a defense if you cant tell how strong your army is

i like the new stuff ur puting on to the new cliant it would be good if we could build naval units if ur base is near water plus buld ships for units that can fire guns like EMP type ROKET type and normal type
