Hello Dawners!
Many thanks to those of you who participate in our beta, it’s a great help.
We’re coming close to finishing all features and starting the stress test.
We’ve finished coding the Battle Engine, so please go and start waging wars and report any bugs you encounter in the results.
The alliance size was also increased to 24 members, so please let us know if you like that new alliance size or you prefer the old 12 members.
Thank you!
Michael

You can access the beta from this link:

More than 8 hrs of coding today is enough for melting any good brain. we’re going to retire for the night and continue debugging & enabling more features tomorrow.
Many things are not yet working, like Invitation to alliances and Battles, those will be enabled in the next few days.
Ticks are enabled and currently set on 1 tick per hour.
Hope you’ll like it!

Tommorow we launch!

If all goes well and no critical bugs emerge, we’ll open the new client to a public beta.
The client is not yet finished, some features are not working as well as some buttons.
But it is playable and we can start running tests with more players active inside it besides us, crazy programmers
Thank you for your support, and I hope you’ll enjoy the almost a year-of-work we’ve put into this one client - completely rewritten from scratch in order to support our next game (Battle Dawn 2) and a bigger community (we hope it will enable us to reach the 100,000 users limit this year).
The skin on the client is still the ‘ugly’ gray boxes as the new skin texture is not yet ready, we leave the pretty stuff to be last.
We plan to run the beta for at least a month or two before starting to switch the current worlds into the new system one by one after each reset. so do not give up yet on playing the old client! it will still take us some time before this new client is stable enough to replace the old client!
Again, our warmest thanks to the supporters out there that made this dream come true.
Developing this (highly expensive) new client could not have been achieved without your support, and there’s still tons of work left to be done.
We plan on making Battle Dawn the best community-driven, browser based strategy game on the web!
Crazy days ahead!
Michael
We’re almost there!

Hello Dawners!
We appreciate your patience.
We’re in the last stages of fixing the critical bugs left in the client.
For the last week we’ve been working around the clock and in very strange hours trying to close all loose ends. this has affected some of our programmers as you can see (click picture to enlarge):
We ask you all to hold on just a few more days, hopefully we’ll be able to open the client for public open beta during this weekend.
Here’s a quick screenshot to tease your eyes ![]()

Cheers!
Michael
